Love Barrow Awards Sponsorship 2013

For the second year running, TurnstoneHR has sponsored Group of the Year at the Love Barrow Awards. Friday 8th March saw a fantastic night at The Forum in Barrow, which was attended by the whole of the Turnstone team.

The winner of the Group of the Year Award was The Croftlands Trust which is based in Manchester Street and which helps adults with mental health issues and learning difficulties.

TurnstoneHR Managing Director, Phil Collier, presented the award to a delighted Janet Morgan, Croftlands Trust project manager, who said “I am proud of my team and the environment they’ve made, because without them we wouldn’t have got this far and we are really grateful that people are saying that what we do helps them”. She added “for us it’s nice to know we’re doing a good job and that people are acknowledging that”.

Phil said that it was “ a humbling evening that has demonstrated the true community spirit of Barrow and it is uplifting hear so many moving stories about and from those putting so much into the town”.
