The new rates Statutory Rates for 2021/22 are listed below. One important change this year is with regards to the age thresholds for the National Minimum Wage. e.g. The highest rate now applies to employees age 23 and over rather than age 25 and over as previously. Please ensure you have your employees on the correct rate for their age.
National Minimum Wage from 1st April 2021 (note changes to age range thresholds)

Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) from 6th April 2021 Weekly rate of £96.35 The same weekly SSP rate applies to all employees. However, the amount you must actually pay an employee for each day they’re off work due to illness (the daily rate) depends on the number of ‘qualifying days’ they work each week. Weekly pay for the calculation of Statutory Redundancy Pay (SRP) is capped at £538 and the maximum statutory redundancy payable is £16,140
