Sarah and Nicki had a great morning at Sizergh Castle on Friday when we joined the Christmas cake-decorating workshop with 3 other keen learners. One of them happened to be the Director-General of the National Trust which made the experience just that bit more special! Our tutor was excellent and thankfully had loads of patience! We mastered some impressive techniques and were all quite proud of our cakes by the end and the morning was rounded off perfectly with a fabulous Christmas lunch – highly recommended!
